Introduction (07_BAIFR_23)

To create a helpbot that ‘knows’ about your company, products and services (and in our case the Arcadefest event), ’embeddings’ are used. We’ll create our embeddings directly inside the AI Engine plug-in, but they must be stored in a special database called a ‘vector’ database. We’ll use one of the most popular vector databases, Pinecone, in this lesson.

If you haven’t already done so, create a free Pinecone account now so you’re ready to follow along. Don’t be put off by the corporate jargon on their site – What we’ll be doing is reasonably beginner-friendly!
