Keyframes are central to creating precise animation in most digital software. Using keyframes, you can precisely manipulate every available property of an object (such as text, an image or video) including its position, scale, rotation, and transparency, over time. After more than one keyframe has been placed, After Effects interpolates the values between two consecutive keyframes, creating smooth transitions.
