Good to know (03_AAEFR_24)

As seen in the explainer, here are useful tips for working with keyframes:

To jump from one keyframe to the next, use the ‘go to next keyframe’ and ‘go to previous keyframe’ arrow buttons on the far left of the current layer property:

Screenshot of animation software interface showing a timeline with keyframes, layers, and properties like Position and Scale. A tooltip points to a button saying, "Go to next keyframe (This property only).
Screenshot of After Effects interface showing a timeline with keyframes, layers, and properties like Position and Scale. A tooltip points to a button saying, “Go to next keyframe (This property only).

To ‘snap’ to a nearby keyframe when scrubbing across the timeline, hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard as you scrub:

An After Effects timeline with a blue playhead at 5 seconds. The Shift key icon is displayed on the lower left.
