The main steps in this video
Insert an Interactive Button:
Go to the ‘Insert’ menu and select ‘Button’.
Choose a style for the button (e.g., a square block type in the video).
Place the cursor where you want the button and drag to create the button shape.
Label the button (e.g., “Enter” in the video, but “Start” or “Begin” could be used depending on the project theme).
Customize the button’s style, color, shading, and text.
Create a New Slide:
In the ‘Scenes’ panel, right-click in a blank space and hover over ‘New Slide’, then select ‘Basic Layouts’.
Choose a layout for the new slide (e.g., ‘Blank’).
Note there are various built-in templates available, including those with ready-made text boxes for titles.
Name the Slides for Better Navigation:
Rename the first slide (e.g., “Welcome”).
Name the new second slide (e.g., “Intro Video”).
Set Up a Trigger for the Button:
Ensure the ‘Triggers’ panel is visible and the button is selected.
Click on ‘Create New Trigger’.
Set the trigger to “Jump to slide: Next Slide” when the button is clicked.
Confirm the settings by clicking ‘OK’.
Preview the Project:
Use the ‘Preview’ feature to test the functionality of the button and the transition between slides.
Preview the entire scene to test the link between Slide 1 and Slide 2.
Close Preview and Return to Editing: After testing, close the preview to return to the editing window.
