The main steps in this video

  1. Select Edit Mode:
Click on the ‘Edit’ tab to access the editing tools.
  2. Open a Photo:
To edit a photo, go to ‘File’ > ‘Open’, find the photo on your computer, and double-click to open it in PaintShop Pro.
  3. Adjust Brightness and Contrast:
If your photo needs color correction, start with brightness and contrast. Go to ‘Adjust’ > ‘Brightness and Contrast’ > ‘Brightness/Contrast’. Ensure ‘Preview on Image’ is checked to see changes in real-time. Adjust the brightness and contrast sliders until the photo looks better. Click ‘OK’ to apply these changes.
  4. Change Vibrancy:
To make your photo’s colors pop, adjust its vibrancy. Go to ‘Adjust’ > ‘Hue and Saturation’ > ‘Vibrancy’. There’s a single slider for vibrancy. Slide it to increase or decrease the color intensity. You can also use negative values if the photo is already very vibrant. Click ‘OK’ when satisfied.
  5. Save the Edited Photo:
After making your edits, it’s important to save the new version of your photo. Go to ‘File’ > ‘Save As’, give your photo a new, descriptive name for easy future reference, and save it.
