The main steps in this video:
1: Create a New Project
Open Premiere Pro and create a new project by clicking on the New Project button. Name the project (e.g., “Springtime Version 1”) and click on OK.
2: Adjust the Workspace
Close the Learn panel by clicking the three lines icon (burger menu) and selecting Close Panel.
Ensure the Editing workspace is selected and adjust individual panels as needed.
3: Import Video Clips
Double-click on the Project panel where it says “Import media to start” and navigate to the desired video clips.
Select and import multiple clips by holding down the Shift key and clicking on Open.
Scrub through clips by moving the mouse left to right over a clip’s thumbnail.
4: Add Clips to the Timeline
Double-click on any clip to add it to the Source panel. Drag and drop the clip on to the timeline.
